Upper and Lower Case In File Names

2010-07-08

When you name your web site's HTML files with mixed upper and lower case, you should be especially careful to have links match corresponding files exactly. Unix is case-sensitive, so it sees "company_info.html and "Company_Info.html" as two different file names. To minimize potential mismatches between links and file names, many webmasters use only lower-case filenames.
